Remove the memory card and then insert it again. you'll hear a beep sound.

if this doesn't work, try the card with some other mobile to see if it is ok or not.

How can i install themes for my lg Kp500 cookie because i want to change it

There are 2 location were you can store the themes on your phone, either on phone memory or in memory card.

If the theme application comes from the computer, you need to transfer it on your memory card by using a multi media card reader, you can make a folder were you can place the themes or just put in on the root directory of the memory card, now from your phone, locate the file manager by going to your phone settings. just run it and follow some instruction, then after the process is done, go to theme settings and run the theme application you download.

If the theme application directly download on your phone via bluetooth or GPRS, just locate the phone memory on the file manager and do the same way.

You can download themes from this free site : KP500 THEMES

Hoping this method helps you.Good Day..

HOW TO DO A THEME?

To install themes you have 2 methods available :

Method 1 - Using Memory Card Reader
  1. Remove the memory card from your nokia mobile phone.
  2. Insert it in to your memory card reader and plug memory card reader into your PC.
  3. Locate the free nokia theme file from your PC.
  4. Copy the free nokia theme file from your PC and paste it onto your memory card.
  5. Remove the memory card and reinsert it to your nokia mobile phone.
  6. Locate the file on your mobile phone and click to install.
Mehod 2 - Using Bluetooth

  1. On your nokia mobile phone, select Menu.
  2. Copy the free nokia theme file from your PC and paste it onto your memory card.
  3. Remove the memory card and reinsert it to your nokia mobile phone.
  4. Locate the file on your mobile phone and click to install.

First of all you need to pair your nokia mobile phone and PC. Pairing devices allow theme to communicate and transfer files. On your mobile phone, select Menu >> Tools >> Bluetooth and turn it on and ensure 'my phones visibility' is set to 'all'. Now click on the bluetooth icon on your PC and select 'Pair device'. Your PC will now scan for other bluetooth devices, once it's found your phone, hit continue. Your PC will now give you a code to enter in to your mobile phone, enter this code when prompter by your mobile.

Now, to install the theme.

  1. Locate the theme on your PC

Sir i hav problem with my nokia handset model no. 3110c whenever i update the music library through music player it says no music files find pls help me and tell me the best possible solution.... thank...

Backup all the contents of the memory card on your computer, format it and reinsert it on your mobile (if you are doing this with a Memory Card Reader). But before you reinstall the memory on your phone, restore the phone's settings to it's default value, you'll find the options on the Settings Menu of your phone (Menu > Settings > press up key once and then "Restore Factory"), once you enter the factory default settings, you'll be asked to enter the security code, enter 12345 (if you haven't changed it, or else you have to use your own customized code). Confirm the process and your phone will automatically restart itself.

Now reinsert the memory card, and again remove it after a minute or two (if you don't have a card reader, connect it to the computer using the usb cable, by selecting the connection type as "Mass Storage'), after it's connected, open the memory card directory and copy/paste all the music files from the computer to the Music folder of the memory card (don't paste it anywhere except the music folder).

Now you'll be able to open or update the music player or the library. If the problem persists, you'll need to update the phone's firmware and I would recommend you to get it flashed.

If you need further help, let me know.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

How do i put music on my sony ericsson phone from a laptop

To put music on your W810i cellphone, connect it to your laptop with the usb cable. If you don't have the cable use a memory stick. The phone or card will show up as a removable drive on your computer in the Windows Explorer. Copy folders of music into the MP3 directory. When your phone is disconnected or the card is inserted, it will take several moments to index the music, and then your music will appear in the music listings.

EnV2 does not recognize MP3 files on micro SD card

This was tricky, but I was able to get MP3 files recognized on my daugter's phone.

First, the MicroSD card needs to be formatted by the phone. The phone requres a special directory structure to be created. You may be able to do this manually, but I did it by letting the phone initialize the card. To do this, insert the MicroSD card. Make sure you push it all the way in.

Go to Menu 9 Settings and Tools. Then menu 9 Memory. Then menu 3 Card Memory. The phone should recognize the card and initialize it by creating the special directories for My Music, My Videos, My Sounds, etc.

Then put the card into your PC and copy your MP3 files to the My Music directory on the card. I could not get the phone to recognize sub folders, so make sure you copy everything directly to the My Music directory and not the one under it.

Now the card is ready, you have to tell the phone to use your card memory and not its internal memory for these items. Go to Menu 9 Settings and Tools. Then menu 9 Memory. Then menu 1 Save Options. Pick Pictures, Video, and Sounds and set the phone to use Card memory for each.

Now you can import the music into the music player on the phone. Go to menu 5 Media Center. Menu 1 Music & tones. Menu 4 My Music. The music player should then Import yhour music into the player and it should now be playable.

(I think these accurately reflect what I did)

You can also go to 9 Settings, 9 Memory, 3 Card Memory, 4 My Music to view your music.

Memory stick

If you are using a PC to upload files onto your phone, here is the folder structure:

- "DCOM" folder, contains the photos that are taken by the camera of the phone.
- "MSSEMC" folder has a "Media Files" subfolder. You can organize your multimedia files here.
Access:
"audio" folder = Menu > File Manager > Sounds
"image" folder = Menu > File Manager > Pictures
"video" folder = Menu > File Manager > Videos
"theme" folder = Menu > File Manager > Themes
"other" folder = Menu > File Manager > Other
"webpage" folder = Menu > File Manager > Web pages
- Otherwise, if you create any folder in the Root directory of your memory card and put the files in it, the phone should recognise the types of files and you should be able to reach the files from:
Menu > File Manager > "Choose Media Type"

Hope this helps,
