Question about Canon PowerShot A80 Digital Camera
I've had this camera for about 3 or so years and have had random problems with it but in time they all went away. yesterday, however, I noticed that whenever I flip the lcd screen away from the camera it gives me a backwards and upsidedown image. it's very irritating and is there any way I can fix it by myself so I don't have to ship it away? thanks
It's designed to stick to the surface of glass tube CRT monitors via three suckers. This does present problems for LCD monitors as the pressure required to make the suckers adhere could damage the flexible sandwich that makes up an LCD panel and more damage could be caused when attempting to remove the calibrator. Of course, ColorVision has designed the Spyder hardware to be LCD-friendly. Instead of using the suckers, an LCD adapter is attached to the calibrator, which prevents the suckers from gaining purchase and a special filter for use with LCD displays is also incorporated. The calibrator is simply left to hang in front of the monitor, without any danger of damaging it. IB
