Question about Cameras
If the pictures are on a memory card AND you haven't done anything with the card since formatting it, there's a possibility of recovering some pictures. Do a google search for "format recovery software" and pick a program appropriate for your computer and operating system. Install the program, put the card into a card reader, and try it.

If you had just hit "delete all", there is recovery software you could have used. Hitting "format" doesn't give you that option.
