HI:
Unfortunely most of the time when you drop a portable unit, things get knocked loose or in the worse case a cracked Circuit board from the empact, shake the unit to see if you hear any rattling inside the case, if so then there may be broken mechnical or plastic parts inside. put your ear close to the unit, after inserting a disc, and listen to the spindel motor rev up. You can also here the pickup tap slightly against the disk if you do not hear any motor spinning then the clamper may not be down on the disc or laser is not working, a non working laser could mean a cracked board.

### Need to fill a 132ft long ditch that is 2 ft wide and 18in high with rock. how many yards do I need

We need to convert everything to a common unit, so let's convert the 18 inches into 1.5 feet.
Volume is length times width times height.
v= 132 x 2 x 1.5
v= 396 cubic feet
To convert to cubic yards, imagine a yard cube. It is 3 feet by 3 feet by 3 feet for a total of 27 cubic feet.
v1 = 396 cubic feet/27 cubic feet per yard
v1 = 14 2/3 cubic yards

So 15 cubic yards should do it.

Good luck.

add in the height to question , then multiply all 3 numbers together .
L X W X H = cubic inches divide that number by 12 to get feet .

### My phone fell out of my pocket at a height of 4 feet, now i cannot get it to power up only show the no battery symbol when plugged in. how do i get this phone working again?

I will assume that you removed the back cover ans re-seated the battery prior to asking this question. If that doesn't help, then you may as well send the phone in for repairs or plan to replace it. Electronics don't handle shocks (drops) well.

### How many linear feet is a fense 25x25x25ft? The cost of the fense about \$15.00 per linear foot.

I am assuming you are talking about fencing in 3 sides of an area with each side being 25 feet long. Linear feet refers to only the running length of the fence. It doesn't care about height. For example, you fence will be 75 linear feet long...three sides each 25 feet. The price per linear foot already takes into account the fence height. For example, you say that the fence you want is about \$15.00 per linear foot. For the sake of argument, say your fence is 4 feet high. If you were to change to a 3 foot high fence, the cost per linear foot would be less since there is less fencing material. If you wanted to up the height to 6 feet, the price would rise accordingly.

### How to calculate cubic feet ?

Calculating the cubic feet of a space requires multiplying the area of the bottom times the average height. You get the bottom area by multiplying the length times the width. Remember, to get cubic feet, you need all your measurements in feet to start with.

VOLUME (in cubic feet) = Length (in feet) X Width (in feet) X Height (in feet)

If it's a rectangular room you're working with, it is all straightforward. If there are irregular walls, it may be necessary to divide up the room into rectangular sections and then add together their individual volumes. If the ceiling is sloped, you need to use the height that has the same ceiling area above it as below it. Good luck! Truly.

### How do you calculate cubic feet?

You calculate a volume. If all the lengths, radii, heights are in feet the resulting volume is in cubic feet.
Example: Right rectangular prism with L=5 ft, W= 3 ft, height =1.5 ft
Volume =(5 ft)*(3 ft)*(1.5 ft)= (5*3*1.5) (ft*ft*ft)=22.5 ft^3

### Need tub capacity

Instructions
Things You'll Need:

* Measuring tape

1.

Measure the depth from inside the washer with a measuring tape. Start from the back of the inside of the washer towards you to the front of the washer. Measure the depth from a top loading washer from the bottom of the inside of the washer to the top. For example, a washing machine may have a depth of two feet.
2.

Measure the height inside the washer unit. The height inside the washer is from the bottom of the inside of the washer to the top of the inside of the washer for a front loading washing. The height is from one side of the inside of the washer to the other side in a top loading washer. For example, the inside of a washer may be one and a half feet, or 1.5 feet.
3.

Divide the height calculated in step 2 by two, and square it. In the example, 1.5 divided by two equals 0.75, and 0.75 to the power of 2 equals 0.5625.
4.

Multiply the number calculated in step 3 by the depth of the washing machine. In the example, 0.5625 times two equals 1.125.
5.

Multiply the number calculated in step 4 by Pi to determine the capacity. Pi is generally estimated as 3.14. In the example, 1.125 times 3.14 equals a washer capacity of 3.5325 cubic feet
