Question about Zodiac Baracuda G4 Automatic Pool Cleaner Ne221
Air is being drawn into the filtering system and the Zodiac won't operate properly.
Check the hose line joints that are on the surface, make sure they are air tight.
Check the 2nd filter basket at the pump, make sure the cover is air tight, check the gasket in the lid.
This lid is clear plastic, if you see a lots of air bubbles when the pump is operating, then air is getting into the system. You need to trace the source of the air leak.
The other possible source of air leak - inside the hose from the Zodiac there is a bladder which inflated when the pump is on to bring the hose to the surface of the water. The end of this badder tube at the filter box may not be sealed properly (the knot at the end of this tube may not be tight).
