How to thread bobbin 451 Pfaff

Having difficulty even locating a photo of the 451. Assuming this is an older model, perhaps this manual will help. It says its also for the 551, so perhaps the model is close enough that it will help you with your machine:

If you are unable to figure out the bobbin winder, you may be able to use a standalone bobbin winder (one brand is called Sidewinder) from the fabric store. They run ~$25-30. Just be sure to bring a bobbin with you to check the fit.

Remote sensor HMDX alarm clock with outside temperature not registering outside temperature

Is the remote very far from the clock? I find that some of these remotes don't have very good range. Try bringing the remote close to the clock to see if you can get them to connect. Some of these type remotes have a reset button or an opening that you can push a paper clip into to reset. I usually try to find a location close enough to the unit so it will connect by still try to keep it out of the weather. I also included a link to the instructions:

Seems to be constantly running. refridgerator section too cold, with items freezing.

it could be 1 of 3 things,1st: the ptc overload on the compressor has welded together and cant cycle on and off/2nd:the cold control is defective, this component is the part you set the units temperature with/3rd:your damper vent door located between the freezer and refrigerator compartments could have frozen open from condensation and cant close to keep the cold out of the refrigerator after the refrige is cool enough, this is behind a plastic grille in the refrigerator and brings in cool air from the freezer

How To Change The ATF Fluid to CRV 2000

Drive the CR-V for 15 to 20 minutes to bring the engine and transmission up to a normal operating temperature. Raise the front of the car with ramps or a floor jack. Support it with jack stands and wheel blocks to ensure it won't move while you service the transmission.

Place a drain pan beneath the transmission. Find the drain plug, located on the bottom of the transmission housing. Remove the drain plug with a ratchet and wait for the transmission fluid to drain out.

Reinstall the drain plug with a new washer and tighten the plug to 36 foot pounds with a torque wrench. Return the CR-V to level ground.

Start the engine and let it idle for a minute or two. Set the parking brake, depress the brakes and move the gear selector through each gear, ending in "Park."

Use a funnel to add just enough fluid to bring the level to 1/8 inch below the "Add" indicator on the dipstick. Allow the engine to run for 15 to 20 minutes, long enough for it to return to normal operating temperature.

Check the fluid level to see if it's in the "Hot" range on the dipstick. If it isn't, add enough fluid to bring the fluid level to its proper place. If the level is already within specifications, simply replace the dipstick into the filler tube, close the hood and turn off the engine.

Best regards.

I have a very old kitchenaid that stopped working. It's at least 30 years old, still have the "Hobart" name on it. Any ideas where I can bring it to get fixed?

Hi, FIGSONWHEELS, Sorry, but you don’t have a KitchenAid mixer. You have a Hobart mixer, which is another brand altogether.
You might try the Hobart website and seek assistance directly through them. They tend to be very close lipped about releasing information on how to fix their mixers by yourself, as they have a whole business unit that services their industrial/commercial floor mixers. You can click on this link for the Hobart Service website:
I hope this will at least get you pointed in the right direction. Good luck, Howard – Burke, VA

Cannot bring both lenses close enough together to see one object

It's not the fact of the closing of the two tubes towards each other that is your problem, it sounds like they are out of collimation. Take them to a camera store or where you bought them from and ask if they know of a good repair agent. This is beyond the DIY repair.

Does it look like a box with four flex ducts or pipes coming off of it? if so its a fresh air/ heat recovery ventilator, supposed to bring in fresh air, keep in mind, the outdoor unit does not bring in air, it is just a pump to the indoor unit. that unit may be running independently, or wired incorrectly

Soft top 97' problem

Open the trunk. Remove the material covering on the left hand side. You will see 2 electric motors(similiar to the ones that wind the windows). One motor open and closes the roof lid the other brings the roof up or down.

These motors can be engaged and disengaged manually.

First check that the motor's are working.

If the motors are working.

Then engage and disengage until they are in sync and open and closes the roof in the correct order.

Please come to me for further assistance.
