Question about Kenwood KDC-MP342U Car CD Player

1 Answer

I have a Kenwood kdc-mp342u car cd player installed in my truck. I have subs hooked up to it and everything was working fine until i had to reset my radio and when i reset it the "sub Level -15,+15" isnt being displayed in the audio adjustments. when i hit the center button it goes strait to base boost. How can i get my radio to display my sub level so i can adjust my subs separate from the rest of my speakers?

Subwoofer output: Hold the (AM-) button down for at least two seconds. You can do this function when "SWPRE" in is set to . The SWPRE (Switching Preout) Switches the preout between rear output ("R") and subwoofer output ("SW").

Sounds like you have a broken dock connector. Apple should give you a replacement. If you're out warranty, you can try to open it and replace dock connector. You can get the part at iPad Repair and there is a guide that shows you how to open a kindle and install parts at iPad Repair Guide.
