Question about HP LaserJet M1522nf Multifunction Printer (CC372A)

1 Answer

My HP LaserJet M1522nf printer will no longer 'boot up'. When turned on the display panel illuminates and then displays "Hewlett-Packard >>>>>" and then all activity stops, with none of the functions (scan, copy, print, fax, etc) working at all. My online research indicates it might be the formatter (main board) that is at fault. Might this be the case based on the symptoms? If so, would the repair costs typically be uneconomical ie. more value for money to simply buy a new printer? Any advice greatly appreciated.

You can check the supplies status by using the control panel, printing a supplies status page,
or viewing HP ToolboxFX. Hewlett-Packard recommends that you place an order for a replacement print
cartridge when Low message for a print cartridge first appears.
