Question about Zodiac Pacer Pool Cleaner

1 Answer

I recently purchased a pacer. After back-washing the filter I have found that the pacer will work for about 8 hours and then stop. I have now noticed that the nut between the "wagon wheel" and the lower unit does not screw in all the way - about 25mm of its thread remains visible. I cannot get it to screw in all the way and am reluctant to force it since it is a new unit. Could this be the cause of the problem?

No they dont screw right up ,its only a plastic casing so dimensions can vary of the nut and thread ,i think the problem you have is the diaphragm in the throat ,these things are tempremental at the best to say the least ,i have had a coulpe of different types with a weight flapper for the best description and the other with the rubber mouth and they are all the same they dont do the job right as they stop ,the best one i have found is a german one ,well what else do you expect and it likes a tank with tracks and it works from a 12v supply .but the machine has its own built in filter and these are renewable ---at a cost-- So iam back to the old fashioned way as the best because i find that in the heat here in spain leaving the motor running for long periods causes the bearings to run hot and seize after a while ,so i use the motor and filter to skim pool for 1/4 of an hour every hour or so on the timer (summer setting) and once ever 4 hrs winter setting then once a week i **** the bottom with the manual brush yes i still have the pool cleaner but i only use it in the winter when its cold and raining and even then only for a few hours at a time to conserve electric and my pump .The best pool cleaner i have is the neighbours ,they have no pool at the back of me so he sends his wife over to help out as iam always out working and my mrs will not come out the housein the sun ,I use very little chlorine maybe a 5 kg bucket a year as i fill the pool with copper sulphate and i have a 10 mtre bore hole that i fill the pool with and this water has a 2% salt content so i use a salt converter to chlorine which works when the timer comes on to skim the pool ,unless its windy it very rarely gets dirty now .

We just purchase home weeks ago.I opened the bosce dish washer found it had a musty order. The following day i ran a dish washer agent, which didn't work.clean the washers filter noticed green algee.

Put two cups of bleach in it and run it on a long and hot wash. The best way to stop the odor is to use it regularly and leave the door open for 15 minutes after you use it so it can dry out a bit. There will always be some water in the bottom in the pump.

Can i keep new windows 8 pro after fresh fujitsu factory settings

Buy Windows 8 Activation Key 64bit 32bit
of course, the best place to buy a key is ms. i purchased years from ms online store. however, this time, i'd like to share one special experience on .
i visit my forum everyday. one day, i found a piece of recommendation from another guy. so i visited this site.
at the beginning, i'm quite skeptical at them. the price is too low.
then i sent many questions to them.
out of my expectation, they replied to me very soon. each question was answered.
at that time, i planned to try the new Windows 10 Education Product Key.
long story short, i purchased a key from them, received it and download links(32bit&64bit) in about one hour. i need 64. and, more important, the key works at the first try.
i sent much feedback to them. in one word, i'm very satisfied with this purchase, and i think, i should pass words to you.

It sounds like the gasket is either broken or crimped in some way . you should find the valve under the sik shut it down and remove the filter and check gaskets for crimps or breaks . It could also be just lose as well

sounds like they have jumped the clutch safety switch, probably because it doesnt work. You may need a new clutch switch, the side stand safety switch could also be acting up.and may also be a reason for this. You could try a multi meter on the switches, to identify the fault, but it can be intermittant, as you may have noticed, also make sure the wiring is good and hasnt been jammed in the steering.

Takes almost 2 hours to complete a wash cycle

Have you ever cleaned it out? Its likely due to a plugged drain, not allowing the system to drain fast enough for the normal cycle. Check out my solution on

My hoover floormate won;t suck/ suction anything!

Things to check: Check again that the pipes aren't clogged. Check all the way through from where the muck goes in to where it's supposed to end up, paying particular attention to places where the pipe narrows, goes round a bend, or changes material. Check the machine doesn't just need emptying. Wet/dry machines usually have some sort of float operated stop valve to stop you flooding the motor when you've filled it with water. Make sure this isn't stuck shut. Check everything from the impellor right back to where the muck goes in is airtight. It doesn't take a huge hole to lose you a lot of suction. Pay particular attention to places that are meant to come apart routinely, and places where hoses join to hard fittings. If in doubt, run the machine and listen for sucking noises. If there's a filter between the fan and the air outlet (there usually is) make sure it is clean Assuming the motor is running, check it is turning the fan impeller. Hopefully, one or other of these will get you somewhere. A.
