U OBVIOUSLY HAVE A CIRCULATION PROBLEM? If the air cannot circulate it remains in the freezer freezing faster and more then usual. you may have the air flow inlet blocked or it has shut closed and refuses to open and close properly. by the way the fan is blowing right cuz a failed fan will also do this?

Whirlpool fridge freezer

either the return air grill(small grill on the inside wall of fridge) is blocked with a loaf of bread or something, or it's the freezer drain is blocked, some fridges use the drain as a return air vent, after unpluging it from the power point, defrost the fridge a remove the back wall plate (interior) of the freezer , & push something down the drain line like whipper snipper cord etc. then poor really hot water down it, check the drain at the back of the fridge for water running, reassemble the fridge pug it in & you should be sweet

Whirlpool refrigerator does not cool on refrigerator side. Freezer side works as it should.

most fridges have coils on the freezer side and circulate cold air to the fridge side. if the freezer is freezing, then the air circulation to fridge is not taking place. find the air ports and make sure they are not closed or blocked (they should be adjustable to vary fridge temp) and check the fan on the freezer side as it achieves circulation.

Ok now my fridge is on but the frizzer is good my fridge is not that cold wat should I do now

If your fridge has coils on the bottom side, check to see if they are dusty or being blocked. Air needs to circulate around these coils for the fridge to make it run properly. Clean the coils with a long brush you can purchase at any hardware store and vacuum out what you can.

Continues to make ice when grill cover is off, then trips on safety limit #2 when replaced. condensor has been fully cleaned

If this is a combination gas grill with the accessory fridge mounted in the cabinet, then the issue is that once you put the grill cover on, you are preventing proper airflow/circulation needed to keep the fridge's compressor ventilated enough to keep operating.

Try leaving the grill cover off and move the grill/fridge out of direct sunlight, as the thermal heating of the cabinet isn't helping the fridge get enough air circulation to help it (the compressor) run cool enough to keep from tripping the thermal overload sensor (thermistor or Klicxon themal protection device) mounted on the compressor.

This device prevents the compressor from extreme heating that can cause the compressor have a catastrophic failure.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

This fridge turns on, the freezer no longer will make ice

Okay, let do this.
1, Check the freezer if you can hear and fan motor or air blowing?
2, check the condenser, amke sure no trash or dirt block the air circulating, located lower kick guard panel, pull out the grill and you can see it.if you can't hear anythings. then you need a new circulation fan motor.
If the above are check and it still not work, you may have lack of refrigerant.

In most refrigerator freezers, the refrigerator gets its cold from the freezer. The evaporator fan circulates air over the coils in the freezer and cold air circulates into the refrigerator through vents. If the vents are blocked or closed, then the fridge will not get cold enough but the freezer will. If neither is cold enough, then the number of possibilities increases.
Lowering the freezer temperature will increase the cooling cycle activity. Setting the refrigerator temperature may have little affect on the cooling cycles because it simply changes the vent opening size. Decreasing the fridge temperature opens the vents more and increases air circulation from the freezer.
The temperature can be adjusted using the controls found inside the refrigerator or freezer. The ideal freezer temperature is about 0 to 5 degrees (F) and about 38 degrees (F) for the fridge.
Measure the temperature by placing a cup of water with a cooking thermometer into the refrigerator for about 2 hours or more. To test the freezer, substitute alcohol or cooking oil.
