Click on the following link to download and install malwarebytes antimalware. You will also need to install an antivirus program if you don't already have one.
http://download.cnet.com/1770-20_4-0.html?query=malwarebytes&searchtype=downloads&filterName=platform%253DWindows&filter=platform%253DWindows
Once you download and install this program you will need to run a scan and whatever it finds, click on fix or quarentine when scan is complete.

Generic Host Process for Win32

Hi

This may be because of the corrupt files or due to an virus infection, how ever you can fix this problem by replacing the corrupted files with clean system files. For this you require a OS cd. Follow the instructions below.

This process is called System File Checker(SFC)

1. Go to Start, then to Run, and type in " SFC.EXE /SCANNOW " ( only text in bold) press Enter.

2. This would ask you to insert the Windows XP / Vista Installation CD.

If problem still persists, feel free to revert back.

Avaste is good but I suggest using another
program for your problem. Actually 2.

SUPERANTISPYWARE (free)
http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html

PANDA ACTIVE SCAN ONLINE (free)
http://www.pandasecurity.com/homeusers/solutions/activescan/

Also, when infected, I suggest running in safe
mode. Also delete (disable) Restore Point as
the infection could be in a backup set. Be sure
to enable it when done.

Hope this helps.

Download Spysweeper from webroot. They give a 14 day trial and it works great. I recommend paying the $30 and keeping the protection on your computer so it doesn't happen again.
