Question about Computers & Internet
Hi. You've probably been asked this loads of times, but at the risk of boring the pants off you, I will ask again!
I have just installed a new 250GB sata HDD. I used a XP (home) disc to format the HDD before installing XP and re-loading all my drivers, etc.
However, XP is only reporting the HDD size as being 127GB (ish) under both 'My Computer' and in DOS using the 'DIR/W' command.
Can this be fixed without reinstalling XP?
I would be most grateful for any advice you could give.
Regards, Roy Stothard
Well you need to check if there is any fault in the 250GB HDD for that there are 2 options one is connect it as external to ur pc and see the total disk size.. else take it to the service centre with your warranty...
Feel free to askmore...!!
