The fifst thing I would do is to remove plug and visually inspect it. Clean as needed and make sure it is set to proper gap.Hook plug wire back to plug without installing plug. Rest base of plug to motor housing and pull starter cord several times. As long as plug is grounded to motor you should be able to see it spark.. If it does not spark it could be abad plug, bad wire or faulty magneto. Good luck. Thanks

Engine turns over but wont start. You can hear thr fuel pump come on. Is it electrical? Could it be battery, fuse, or loose wire?

This sounds like the crank shaft sensor is bad. The sensor sends a signal to the computer about when to fire the coils for spark.

Circular saw locking bolt turns spindle

There is a button on the saw that holds the shaft still. Unplug the saw and put light pressure on this button while you slowly turn thr blade by hand. When it gets to the hole, the button will drop into the shaft. Keep it pressed down and unbolt the nut.

Saw will not start and getting fire

Try checking the fuel filter. Open the gas tank and look inside the tank. You will see a plastic hose inside the tank. Pull the hose out and on the end of it is the fuel filter. Chances are it needs replaced. If the saw is getting fire but won't start it has to be a fuel problem. That is where you need to start at

Hard starting husqvarna chain saw 450 rancher, is drowned

Take plug out of saw, ground it out on metal cylinder, slowly crank saw and see what kind of spark you have. Quick, bright blue fire is good, yellow or huge kernel fire is not. No fire is ignition module. If soaked with gas change plug if that don't do it, it is time to put a kit in the carberator.

When trying to pull start my Mcculloch chainsaw 338, its all jerky. ok last season. Help please.

Take the spark plug out and pull the cord to see if it stuck.
Drain all gas and get a new mix.Put back the sp and start.
If thr cord was unable to pull, thr pisto and crankshaft must be service.
