You can turn the self timer off the settings or you could pull the batteries out of the camera and that will reset it.

The flash is not working on my camera, just an orange light that seems to be (from a diagram) the self timer lamp or AF illuminator, what do I do?

Sounds like the charging capacitor on unit is defective and not taking a charge so as to fire the lamp when called for. Not the sort of job for a normal DIY'er. Best to take it in with the understanding that it could be an expensive proposition due to the high markup on the part and the labor involved.. Get an estimate first and be guided accordingly.

I have a zenith e44w46lcd tv, while watching it, it turned off and now will not turn back on again. Green light flashes for a bit then goes back to red. Also lamp light is on orange. Do I need to replace...

More then likely your lamp is faulty, you can replace this lamp urself, but on zenith models the lamp comes as a bulb only, you will have to change the lamp and use your original housing. Also lamp timer will have to be reset. The only reason you might need a repair man is to go into factory mode and reset lamp timer. But if you are mechnically incline you can swap the lamps yourself..

if it's the lamp led that is orange, turn off the projector for a minute and try it again. if the lamp goes out and the orange led comes on again, replace the lamp and reset the lamp timer.

Discoloration

I don't think you are posting about a LCD flat panel set, since replacing he lamp on these means replacing the panel.. If this is a rear projection set as I suspect it is, there are two likely causes.
1) Pull the lamp back out and clean the dispersion lens/UV filter immediately behind where the lamp goes. Clean it carefully, because it is easy to damage.
2) You have a bad optical block
