Corona 23-dk heater burns fine when filled up but flames starts going very low a little pass the 1/2 line on fuel gauze. what causing that.

From your description, it sounds like the wick may need replacing or the tails of the wick are not hanging all the way down into the tank. And, therefore they are drying out. Thus, your flame gets low and eventually goes out. The only way to know is take the heater apart. If you're not comfortable doing that check with your local hardware stores, like True Value or Ace. many of these store do repairs on kerosene heaters and replace wicks. It can be a messy job, but someone has to do it.

Check all airvents into conbustion chamber. Make shure they are all clear of blockage. The heater needs air to burn fule properly. Check wick adjustment it may have to much wick.

Kerosene heater

Turn knob all the way to the right. Your wick may not be mounted right. The pins are out of the guiding wholes.
