The quickest test, is to try another stick of RAM, or try the original stick again.

Laptops can be very fussy at what memory they work with. I have at least 5 models here (2 made by ACER actually) which refuse to use any but one specific type each.

You say that it won't turn on, but do you mean there is no signs of life at all? or it just doesn't actually boot (into Linux i am assuming).

Try the memory testing mentioned above, and if still no life, try again, but with any battery removed first (after removing the battery hold the POWER button down for 30 seconds - to remove any traces of old electric from the netbooks insides).

The most common problem with all laptops/notebooks/netbooks is a broken charger socket, and this would be the next thing i'd check for. It may just be that it could have broken by coincidence at the same time as you have decided to change the RAM.
Remove the battery, unplug the mains charger from the mains but plug it into the netbook as normal, and 'very' gently rock it from side to side just a fraction, to see if it's loose. Don't be rough doing this as the power sockets are always fragile. Remember you're not trying to see if you can make it move, you only want to see if it is already possible because it's broken away inside.

If it feels loose, now take something such as a wooden match, and gently see if you can see the centre pin in the charging socket move when touched. Any movement in there indicates a new socket may be needed - a good working socket should be solid.

I change the ram, and then no boot, no video?

Hi there
There are a couple of things here possibly.
Firstly is the new RAM stick exactly the same speed as the old one? If it isn't then this will allow the netbook to appear to run but nothing will get done because the BIOS may not recognise the new memory.
Secondly, it is sometimes necessary to go into the BIOS settings to tell BIOS that the memory has changed and what it has changed to.
The first thing to try is to replace the old RAM and see if this cures the problem. If it does then it confirms that either a setting change is required, the 2Gb RAM is incompatible for some reason, or you may have damaged dislodged something during the upgrade.
Hope this is helpful

Can i change 1 gb ram to 4 gb ram of tablet pc

Unfortunately the maximum amount of memory that the Acer Aspire One can have is 1/5Gb of ram. This can only be achieved by fitting 1 x 512Mb ram and 1 x 1Gb of ram.

You can put more memory in but it simply wont recognise it.

I hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa

Just purchased acer aspire one 150-1786 netbook

You say you just purchased it, It must be under warranty, take it back. If its not under warranty it could be a number of things. removing and replacing the ram is the easiest thing to do. Does anything show up on the screen when you turn it on?
