Have you tried using another game? Is the game a DS Game or an Advance game? Although the Advance games are supposed to work on a DS, it could be a compatibility issue. If this problem happens with any game, I would think there was a problem with the console. If you still have your receipt take it back to where you bought it, if not, call Nintendo and the Customer service person should be able to help you out.

Dsi isn't charging?

Take out the battery and check if it is taking charge or showing any kind of discharge or not. You may have to lift charge once.

Will not switch on

If the problem is, it switches on for a little but then turns off, here is the solution, first it is mostly caused by water entering the dsi, or the battery running too low, (this means it shows blue but it is actually low) to fix these BOTH problems at once, leave your dsi rapped in a towel so the water dries out and put it in charge while your at it to fix the battery problem aswell, wait about a day and see if your dsi is fixed if not ask an elder to take apart the dsi with a screwdriver and rap all the pieces in a towel but dont charge it!. leave it for a day and then ask an elder to reasemble it

(I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FURTHER DAMAGED CAUSED TO YOUR SYSTEM)

But you might aswell try right? its already broken :P
If nothing works, get the 3DS but keep it away from water.

When i insert a game into my daughters dsi it is not showing up on the screen. It just says there is no card inserted in the DS game card slot.

Use a small torch and look inside the game slot. It is most likely that one of the contact pins has been bent and is not macking contact. If any pins look mor bent than the others you may be able to bend it back into place. Remove the battery before you try any repairs (the battery is under the battery cover on the bottom of the DSi). After removing the battery, use a suitable tool such as a small screwdriver or an unbent paperclip to gently bend the pin back to the same position as the other pins. If the pin is too far bent to be repaired, then the game slot can be replaced but this requires desoldering of the game slot and this is not a task for a novice.

My problem is with the Nintendo DSI XL error introduced 000FE00

Hello! To fix your Nintendo DSI error with 000FE00 you need to follow a couple of steps!

1. Start your DSi and wait until the Battery is Empty. (Having an empty Battery lowers the time to boot up. The Ds got two internal flash memorys that are both damaged when you have this error. With the low Battery the resetted one gets loaded while the other can't in the same speed)

2. Remove the Bolts and extract the Battery for around 1.5 hours. Why we did this? All the Electricity needs to be out of the System to make sure it's only getting the Bootup Information from the Chip that got resetted and not from the other, if the other one could send it's information, we would still have the Error.

3. Reinstall your Battery.

4. You need to be fast now: Insert your Flashcard, and start your DSi.Start the Application you used the last time, before the Error appeared and close it legitly. In case off the SuperCard DSTWO SNES Emulator, just press the Exit Button. Other Flashcards like the R4i need to be soft resetted to the flashcard's menu, and need to boot up some game's rom.

5. -Not Necessary but just feels a little more safe- Format your NDSi.

6. Charge your Battery and enjoy playing your NDSi Systems again.

I hope these steps help you fix your problem! Good luck!

I have a new DSI XL that my grandchild has been using for about 2 months. All of a sudden, the battery will not hold a charge or at least that's what I think. We put it on charge one night and the next...

It certainly sounds like the battery. However, if the DS is only 2 months old, your best bet would be to call nintendo; the item is likely still covered by the warranty. Dont' fix it yourself. Attempting to do so will void the warranty

When i insert any game into my action replay dsi, all the codes show up but before i start it says to insert my game card

This is easy I THINK. I do have some experience with the Action Replay DSi. I thin kyou need to take out the action replay, and put in the game in the dsi gameslot, not the Action replay one.
