Question about Sylvania LC320SLX 32 in. LCD TV
The high pitch may be coming from the power supply due to bad DC filter caps or failing components, or from the backlight inverter board, you can try disconnecting the power cable to the inverter board first and also check the DC voltages.

The tv power supply board is dead.That the board,where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole referbish power supply board for the replacement.
