Blank screen, please help!

Ok, i gave my cousin my N64 when i moved to a new town. I have gotton it back now, 2 years later. For some reason, It won't run on any of the tv's in my house. So I took it to my local video game store, and they got it to work! I was estatic, but then I got home and it still wont work on my tv's.

~note~ they used one of they're games down at the game store.

Try cleaning your games, i use peroxide and a q-tip and works fine.just keep cleaning the game contacts with the peroxide on the q-tip then wipe it dry with a dry q-tip.

My n64 will not turn on... the red light won;t show up the tv is blank, all the cords are plugged in HELP!!!!

Well you could buy and try a new N64 ac adapter to see if it makes a difference then.
For my problem with no red light showing up on at all I talk out the old motherboard and install a new one then.

Goldeneye deleted all it's memory randomly

Hello, n64 cartridges are outdated for that reason exactly. They have a small space to save game info. A quick off and back on is actually the way you reset the memory. Say you bought someone else's n64 and each game you loaded had saved info on it. Powering off and then turning it back on, would erase that data and allow you to start your own game. Once your 64 went instantly off, it reset/erased the saved info. Unfortunately there is nothing I know of to get it back. Sorry. Hope this helps though.

Blank screen when I turn on my N64

The blank screen is usually caused by a faulty connection.

If you are sure all of your cables and the expansion pack are installed correctly, try removing the pack and blowing on both the expansion bay and the expansion itself to knock any loose dust out.

If that doesn't help, check the expansion pack and then the the bay for damaged or bent pins. Check the game cart as well.

If everything appears undamaged, you may have a broken/defective expansion. See if you can get your money back and then try to find another one from a trustworthy retailer or friend.

Nintendo 64 expansion pak

Barb3: The Jumper Pack (JP) is a bypass for the expansion cartridge. You were supposed to turn off the equipment remove the JP and then use the expansion cartridge. Your N64 Ram it's probably gone for good. Is either replace the RAM, which is hard to find or replace the N64. Sorry for that.... SithPitt
