Check the power connectors to the Graphics Card are connected firmly and that it's seated on the motherboard correctly. Check for dust as this may also cause issues. Other than this I cannot help you, good luck.

How much must you invest to get $500,000 four years from now?

To get $500,00 four years from now, how much must you invest today, assuming an annual interest rate of 4%?

A=P(1+i)^n, where A is the amount, P is the principal or initial investment, i is the interest rate per period, and n is the number of periods.

500,000 = P (1+0.04)^4
500,000/(1.04^4) = P
P = $427,402.10

Good luck,

Paul

My f10 keeps reading "card not initialized"

Is it a new card? You could try to initialize or format it with the function in the camera setup menus. If it won't format, then maybe it is having trouble with the size of the memory. Memory cards have grown enormously in capacity in the last couple of years, and even relatively new cameras may not be able to cope with the memory size of the newest cards.

SD and SDHC cards fit the same slots, but many cameras won't work with the SDHC (high capacity) cards. SDHC is not backwards compatible.

Card not initialized

unfortunately SD cards are very unreliable. if the card is recognized by your computer but you are still unable to view the pics... you have to format the card - This will result in the loss of all data on the card. If you perform a quick format you could try using an undelete software - A great suite of software is called glary utilities and it includes an undeleter. but i dont know if you will be able to save them or not

Getting card not initialized; has worked fine for 3 years

Removing the sard should not cause a problem. Try cleaning the contacts on the card with a dry cloth. Try another card-this will verify whether it is the camera or the card causing you problems.

How do I initialize a picture card?

Turn the camera viewer on (on your finepix 3800, it is the middle position where you preview photos). Press the "menu" button and you will be presented with four options, and the top option is FORMAT. Select format and your card will be usable again. Two things to keep in mind. Any pictures on the card will be lost, and when you press the menu button as I described it may take a few seconds before those four options appear. As an FYI, the most common cause of the card needing to be reformatted is when the pictures are loaded to a MAC computer and the USB cable is pulled before you eject the camera.
