Facing the drier get a small putty knife come about 1 inch from the edge of the drier and push in with the putty knife to release the plastic clip some times this can be difficult pull up on the top at the same time do that on either side till you get the top up then tilt the top back against the wall disconnect the door switch wires look in the drier to the front panel on either side you will see two 5/16 screws remove them tilt the front panel toward you and remove the panel put the belt around the drum slide it back to where you can see the old one has been running pull the idler wheel back hold tension on it and put the belt around the motor pulley let the idler pulley up till it engages the belt and reverse dissemble don't for get to plug the door switch back upDryer belt replacement - image3.gif

I need to replace a dryer belt on a Kenmore gas dryer model number 110.73032102. The belt part number is 2925.

Not sure where you got that part number but the true part number for the belt on your dryer is 3387610

The service manual detailing the disassembly and repair of your dryer can be downloaded at link below. Be sure to unplug dryer before proceeding to disassemble::

Kenmore Dryer, Model # 11063102100, does not dry.

Does the drum still turn. If so probably just needs a new heating element. VERY easy to replace. Usually instructions to replace on or in new element box or just google instructions.
New heating element would be my first move to repair dryer.
Also, if you use softeners or dryer sheets, Wash lint screen with dawn and soft scrub brush to remove oils and residue (even if it dont look like there is none there there is) to extend your heating element use.

Dryer belt replacement

To replace the belt, you have to take the front off the dryer and lift out the drum. With the new belt, place it around the drum and with the drum in place put the excess belt through the idler pulley or bracket (depending on your model), then around the motor pulley. You push the bracket or idler arm toward the motor to get the "loop" of the belt around the pulley on the motor. Hope this helps! Paul Hoffmanns
