There is a faint buzzing sound coming from the 50HDX82 TV. If I turn up the volume of the TV, then one does not hear it, but if you do the '1/2' mute, you hear it a lot, if you mute it completely, you do not hear it. I don't know how to fix this problem. I was away for a vacation, and when I came back, it became this way. Any advice would be appreciated.

I know this will sound stupid but try it, unplug just power cord, leave it unplugged for 2 hours then plug it back in. This will reset it to factory setting and if this issue was caused by a power issue it will fix it.

NS-LDVD32Q-10A buzzing noise

Try another input and another source such as a DVD player. If you still get the buzzing sound, you could have a faulty power supply output or a fault in the audio circuit of the main board.

Tv makes buzzing sound all the time no matter what volume level

A few steps to take to narrow down issue:

1. With sound all the way off do you hear the buzz?

2. If no buzz that way try the rear inputs with a DVD etc to see if same issue.

If the buzz is there with no sound (turned all the way down) and via rear inputs you have a transformer (most common area is power supply) that is vibrating hard enough to create the sound or buzz.

Only two ways if that is the case to deal with it---replace the board it is coming from (have seen brand new sets with this) or in some cases I have been able to locate the offending part and apply hot glue to it and stop the buzz.

Humming sound

Samsung states - A buzzing sound from your plasma TV is normal. It is caused by the electrical charges used to create the images on the screen. The buzzing, however, should not be so loud that you can hear it when the volume on the TV is set at normal levels. It is also important to determine the type of buzzing sound. A sound like a ground hum is completely normal. This buzzing can originate near the power cord connection or from the SMPS board position on the upper back of the TV. The buzz will be more audible as contrast increases on the screen, most notably when displaying an all white screen. If the buzzing sound is loud, you may have the Contrast set too high. Lower the contrast to reduce or eliminate the buzzing. You may also have loud buzzing if the rear of your Plasma TV is too close to a wall or other hard surface. Try moving your TV away from the wall until the buzzing is minimized. [1]
If the buzzing is at a higher frequency and resembles a crackling sound (like the sound of Velcro being pulled apart), and originates from the upper middle back of the TV, you likely have a failing SMPS board. Place a support call with Samsung to have the SMPS board replaced.FP-T5084 Have a known buzzing problem with a very simple fix.If the buzzing is coming from the left or right sides of the rear and the volume can be changed by pressing lightly on those locations, you are probably hearing the vibration of the grounding springs on the back panel. Call Samsung (or whoever) and have a technician confirm the problem. The easiest fix is to insulate the offending spring by applying some felt tape.

have someone check speaker ground to the TV chassis. Your speakers are picking up reverb from the Video Signal.

I connected my surround sound to the audio output on my samsung tv and it works fine. Of course I don't have an hdmi input on my surround sound system because its an older model, but it works great. Just got to put the surround sound to audio instead of dvd or tuner setting

Tv won't turn on red lights blinking

You are hearing the spark gap mounted on the lamp ballast board. If you can hear that sound, that means everything in the lamp driver circuit is working except the lamp!

Get a new lamp.

Buzzing after 1 hour

Is the buzzing coming from the back of the TV, staying loud even when the volume is turned all the way down, or is it coming from the speakers?
