Check all the Thermostats Hi-limit, Cycling Thermostat and Thermal Fuse.

Dryer not heating


Did you check to see if the new heating element is receiving power? If no power, did you check the switch that feeds the element?

My Blomberg 1330A stopped heating. Heating element seems fine, so now looking for the thermal switch...


Test the heating element with a meter for continuity with a meter.
After that follow the wires, one thermal fuse should be neer the heater element the other near the exhuast.

Hi My dryer does not get hot. It seems the heating element has blown. It does have a smell to it similar to a hair dryer that has been over worked. I am not sure where to find the heating element to...


It is located in behind the drum.The heat sensor may be also gone and not the heat element.The sensor may be stuck in the spot where it turns of the element.....If u hold a lighter to one it should click to turn the heat element of at a certain temp.Hope this helps u out Ms Young.

My dryer seems to work ok but the heating element doesn't come on.


heating element is out to reach element either remove bottom lid below door you should be able to see element you can see heating coil some are on the back of dryer and some heating are around drum a element may be broken,call repairman

Electric Dryer, heating el works, exh not blocked, clothes no dry


double check your element temp t-stat and recheck continuity on element. I have known them to work but have shorts in them

Dryer Heats on High all the time


I don't think it is the heating elements. You have checked out all the important stuff. Is there power coming from the controls on medium and low. It sounds like this is the problem.
