We have a Honda GCV 190 gas pressure washer. It starts up okay and runs for 20-45 seconds and then stops. We have changed bot the gasoline and the oil but run into the same problem.

I have a ryobi pressure washer with the honda gcv 190 and it wont start i got fuel and spark and the switch is on it just dont want to start

Is this a brand new unit or one that you've had awhile? If one you've owned awhile, when is the last time you used it? Did you use a fuel stabilizer or drain the tank and let the engine run until it stalled?

One thing you might try would be to remove the spark plug and give a little spray of carb cleaner in to the plug hole, then reinstall the plug and try to start it. If there's just not enough vacuum to get fuel to the cylinder, getting the engine to fire off the cleaner may provide enough oomph to get the engine started and running.

Honda gcv 190

If it begins to catch then you definitely have ignition. Try replacing the plug with same type. If same result, the main jet in carburetor is clogged or the needle valve is stuck and not allowing fuel to enter into motor.

Honda engine pressure washer won't start

Remove the sparkplug spray isoproxyl (rubbing) alchohol in the cylinder and on the sparkplug this will "dry out the engine" reassemble and, start the engine.
It should start as a "wet with gasoline" sparkplug can not spark nor, will liquid gasoline ignite

It won't stay running

You need to either clean the carb really good (take it apart) or rebuild it or both. Sounds like your needle is gummed up and not letting fuel through.
