SOURCE: When I type it is printing different letters than I am typing.

On most models there is a pitch switch 10.12.15.PS

you need to match the switch to what print wheel is in the typewriter. most common wheels are 10 or 12
move the switch to that area.

if that is not the problem take out the ribbon, corr. tape & print wheel. tuen on the typ. let it home, put the print wheel & ribbon ( Not the corr. tape) turn on let it home tray typing. if works O.K. put in the corr. tape .
Then you are good to go.

Hi There,
Try unplugging it, wait 2 minutes and plug it back in. Let me know if this helps.

My Brother ML100 is not printing what I type

Hammer sticking and typing incorrect letters (and or skipping letters): 1) make sure daisy wheel installed correctly. 2) hold down CODE key & Q (RESET) to reset wheel...if still not corrected 3) WD40 the hammer at the base & joints where moving parts are, keep typing until oil seeps in (this last one fixed it for me)

Typing light and inconsistant-top part of letter okay but bottom too light or not there: to left of hammer (at base) are 2 screws, I losened them and adjusted hammer to different forward and backward spots..finally found the ideal location where full letter printed and had the correct force it needed to print correctly.

When you type, each character you strike actually types another letter.

first try turn typewriter off, (button on left panel toward the back), then turn it back on, and while hold down the CODE button, press RESET key, the whole print head will move and reset

if that doesn't work, power off again, open the cover, release the lever to the Daisy Wheel, and inspect that Daisy Wheel - mine has a bent forward letter, and another letter was kinda stuck to the side of another letter... I gently fix both letters, put the Daisy Wheel back in, firmly lock it in place with the lever, close the cover... and voila, it works like a charm.

While you have it open you might want to dust (use the cleaning spray can duster)... You wouldn't believe what I found in my typewriter... Good luck!

If that doesn't work, I would replace the Daisy Wheel.

My pendrive cannot open and also cannot format what to do pliz tell me

would help if you can post details on what happens when you try to open the pen drive or when you try to format it, like is it actually detected by your system, or is there any type of error?

as a suggestion, try to test it on different USB ports on your computer. If it is actually detected, which means, there is a drive letter assigned to it, open the DOS/Command prompt. If you are using Windows OS, type format X:\ and press the Enter key. Be sure to substitute X with the correct drive letter assigned to the pendriive. Hope this helps.

Wong letters & numbers

I downloaded the manual from http://www.devicemanuals.com/downloadguide.php and then, following the instructions there, I removed then re-inserted the daisy wheel. This solved my problem. Perhaps it had somehow gotten out of adjustment. At least, it is something to try if you haven't tried it already.

Typing different letters than what i am striking

Your are on the wrong keyboard setting. Look around the typewriter, usually on the left side of the keyboard, and you will see a setting 1,2 or 3. Keyboard one is the one you want.
