I purchased a hp deskjet D1660 printer and installed it on my laptop, it will not print anything. All the documents are pending . I have turned it off & on restarted my computer, reinstalled the printer and nothing works... Help

It sounds like the message to me that the printer and the pc are not communicating very well and when you went to print your 54 page document your printer could not handle such a big file there is a communication error between them both. have you updated your printer drivers ? have you run a virus scan on the document ? you might have a virus in one of the drivers for your printer ! what I would do is uninstall your printer from your pc go to add & remove programs remove your printer and then go to the HP website and fully download your software again for your printer when you go on to the HP website type in your printer model number and ask for a set up disk for your printer so just type in instalation disk for

the print spooler is not letting it print cancel the pending jobs you will be able to print fine keep on cancelling the documents unless the icon shows 0 document pending ....
