Question about Kuppersbusch EEB62001 Electric Single Oven

Open Question

I have a Kuppersbusch EEB 62001. There is no heat, no fan, no light. I have checked the fuses (i.e. the fuse box and the main switch in the kitchen). The over is only 4 years old and has not been used too much. Where should I start, the electrics or the oven? Thanks

SOURCE: fan in main oven boken

Sounds as if your oven heating element has failed. You need to fit a new one.

Usually you have to get the back off, disconnect the old element, remove the fixxing screws and element, fit new one, reconnect and it should be fixed. Don't forget to switch the power off before starting work.

SOURCE: main fan oven not heating

If the light and the fan are working then it is the heating element that has failed. You need to replace it.

Its not a difficult job but you have to take the back off the oven. The heating element is usually in a circular shape around the fan housing.

You have to disconnect the wires to the heater and remove the retaining screws, fit the new heater and reconnect. Remember to switch off the power before starting work

Check if a overtemp fuse has beem avtivated. You will need a multimeter. Check for burned wires on function switch and thermostat. And check functionswitch for burn marks. Function switch = main switch

Oven has stopped heating, and automatic interior light has also stopped working. Fan still works though - any ideas?

Stove possibly has a fuse panel which is usually in the inside area of the switches and there is usually one for each burner as well as the oven. Make sure you replace with the right size fuse or you could have trouble.

Switched bottom oven on, then noticed it had tripped fuse for cooker in main fuse box. Swithed it back on and it wouldn't heat up. The fan and light were ok! Top ove? grill works ok still.

sounds like you have a heating element burned out. Look real close at the heating elements and you may see a hole burned in the metal tube. This is a sure sign of a bad element. Some elements are easy to unplug. Others a real pain. Always unplug and or turnoff breaker prior to unscrewing anything. If you fine the bad element just unplug and other element may work OK. Best to get your model number and search net for new element.

No sign of life in the oven. No light, no fan, no heat. Worked two days ago. Checked main house fuse box - no problem there.

if the main fuse box breaker looks good then there is a chance that the outlet that the oven is plugged into is bad and there is no power there. also that outlet could be inline with a GFCI outlet in the kitchen and that outlet could have failed. check to see if you have power at the outlet and if you don't -- trace back from there.
( also -- sometimes the breaker looks ok and it in fact is not -- flick it off and back on and then see if you now have power to that outlet / oven ).
