Question about KME PC Keyboard and Mouse

Open Question

I'd like to know, in which part of the KME KB-2881-s slim keyboard is the unit's motherboard located. I'm not sure, if motherboard is the right word. I mean the part of the keyboard, which processes data (input) and sends it into computer. Most important for me is, wether is it only in one half, or if it's lying partially in both parts. Thank you!

Slim folio will not be found with new Ipad 6th generation, we followed the instruction and nothing happens

You have missed a step. Read again carefully

Connect the Slim Folio keyboard case to iPad
Before you connect your iPad 5th Gen to the Slim Folio keyboard case, make sure it's inserted correctly into the case:

Place your iPad so the camera lines up with the camera lens cutout on the Slim Folio case.
Snap the corners of the iPad into the holder to secure it.

To connect for the first time

The Slim Folio case doesn't have an On/Off switch. To turn on your keyboard case, open it and rest the iPad on the strip directly above the keyboard. The status indicator on the top right of the keyboard will glow green.
On first connection, your keyboard enters Bluetooth discovery mode and the status indicator will blink blue rapidly.
Go to the Bluetooth settings on your iPad and select Slim Folio in the Devices list.
If your iPad requests a PIN, enter it using the keyboard (not on your iPad).
Once the connection is made, the status indicator will turn solid blue. Your keyboard is ready to use.

To connect to a different iPad

If you've already connected the Slim Folio case to an iPad and want to connect it to another one:

Rest the iPad on the strip directly above the keyboard. This activates the keyboard. You should see the status indicator glow green, and then blue.
Press the Bluetooth connection button on the right side of the keyboard to make your keyboard discoverable.
Go to the Bluetooth settings on your iPad and select Slim Folio in the Devices list.
If your iPad requests a PIN, enter it using the keyboard (not on your iPad).
Once the connection is made, the status indicator will turn solid blue. Your keyboard is ready to use.

I have toshiba Tecra 9000 laptop, its USB ports and Keyboard EXTERNAL port is not working. please help me

It's a common problem with the Tecra 9000's - either one or both USB ports and sometimes the external KB port along with it. The 2 USB's and external KB port (and the TV out port next to it) are all located on the same daughterboard that plugs into the motherboard, and in your case, more than likely the connector on the motherboard is bad (gotten loose). There's no easy fix for this unless you've got an ultra-fine soldering tip, good soldering skills....

How about a workaround? A PC card (PCMCIA card) that gives you 2 or 4 high speed USB 2.0 ports - it'll stick out a little on the right hand side, but in return you'll have fast USB ports, and you can use a USB keyboard with the thing.

HP KB-0316 Keyboard get hanged after few minutes.

you might have to uninstall your keyboard restart your computer then reinstall it

try blowing out all of the dust from your keyboard using a fine air blower from an air compressor making VERY sure there is no MOISTURE in the lines.

dust causes static which causes lots of problems with a computer and its parts

click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to keyboards you might see a yellow exclamation or question mark or red x you will need to update driver right click to update driver

make sure the usb device is inserted correctly into the usb port (if applicable)

if your computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it

hope this helps

Cannot connect my keyboard to my all-in-one IBM desktop. Does it need a specific type of keyboard? The all-in-one was given to me by a friend without the keyboard. I notice the portal where the keyboard is...

It uses a USB Keyboard or a Standard PS2... if you have a USB KB try a different USB Port, shouldnt matter which one. Also PS2 KB ports can go bad. Test with a different KB if you can. The PS2 (purple KB Port) is located on the right side front.
