Open Question

Quick Question, My KBD960 will not log on at all. All the dip switches on the back are in the correct position. The #2 switch can be on and I can get to the diagnostics menu and the other menu to set up the pin. Thanks for the help.

The spa is not wired correctly or the dip switches on the spa pack are not configured correctly. Use a multimeter to verify that you have 2 x 110 legs feeding your spa pack. If you do there is a dip switch diagram on the back of the spa pack access panel.

We have installed GM40 time. which control shaft on / off cycle i.e 4 hours on / 2 off. i checked selector switch postion, i.e continuous on (upper position) and continuous off (lower position) in this...

I have GM40 timer sitting in front of me.
I cannot understand your question because I do not know what the 'control shaft' is.
If you mean the black-colored FM1 clock dial with captive trippers, then this dial is supposed to rotate continually as long as timer has power.
http://waterheatertimer.org/images/FM-1-Grasslin-Intermatic-20.jpg

Grasslin/Intermatic GM40 page
http://www.intermatic.com/products/grasslin/electromechanical%20time%20switches/multi-voltage%20time%20switches.aspx
The manual says quote:
With the manual switch in the middle position, the GM40 is in automatic mode and will switch at the programmed times. In the upper position "I", the load is permanently ON. In the lower position, "O", the load is permanently OFF. End quote.
In any switch position, the FM1 clock dial will continually rotate.

If your Load does not turn on-and-off according to the trippers set on FM1 clock dial, then 1) wiring is suspect or 2) if dip switches are not correctly set before applying voltage, and timer could be damaged.

The timer arrives with dip switches pre-set for 277Volts.

You can also manually rotate clock dial clockwise to observe when the load turns on-off.

Add a comment and give more information.
I would like to know what the 'control shaft' is, and what voltage you are using, and what dips switch setting you have, and which wires are connected to each terminal.

How can I program my Leviton timer model 6651-I?

Leviton 6651 Manual.
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Leviton-6651-manual.pdf
Timer requires a battery which should be replaced each 12 to 18 months.
Timer replaces single-pole or 3-way switch, and does not need a separate neutral wire.
Timer is for incandescent lights only.
500 Watt capacity
Push the door for manual override to reverse program that is in effect.

The 14 hour timing period is represented by 24 dip switches.
Each dip switch is positioned for ON or OFF.

Click the dip switch right or left
Start at the bottom
For example: ON for 3 hours, OFF for 4 hours, ON again for 3 hours:
Click dip switches 1 thru 3 to ON position, 4 thru 7 to OFF position, 8 thru 10 to ON position
ON position is to the right.
OFF position is to the left.

At the end of the 14 hour program, the timer turns lights OFF until the original start time is reached after 24 hours.
Timer will operate like this while in AUTO mode, until function switch is moved from AUTO to MAN or OFF modes.
Function switch is located at very bottom of timer door.
To activate program (on first day), function switch is set to OFF position for 2 seconds, and then move function switch to AUTO mode, and programming cycle begins.

Hayward H400 error code bo

This error means "Bypass Operation". On the back of the control module there are some "dip switches". They have an on or off position. Check switch number 2. Make sure it is in the "off" position. The "on" position is for a remote thermostat.

Reset the error code e-5 on a ricoh ft4522

There is no need to use dip switches to reset this error code.Providing that the thermistors are good and they have been installed correctly, here the reset procedure that is done through operation panel: press "Clear Modes" botton, then 107,then press and hold the "Stop" key for 3-5 seconds until you see the screen has changed. After that you need to turn the main power swith off and back on.The error code should be reset at this point. If it comes back, you may have a bad fusing lamp or a bad connector.

I have a duotherm double unit A/C setup on a 2003 Triple E Commander - I reset the thermostat by pressing the top and bottom buttons on start up - "FF" code shows up, but now it doesn't recognize Zone 2...

In the main unit, remove the inner shroud and then pull down the control unit (two phillips screws). Remove the access cover on the control box to view the dip switches. The switches should be set to Zone 1 and Zone 2 to on and then the furnace to on (if so equipped). If the zones are not in the in position, then set them to the correct position and reset the thermostat again. If they are correct, try turning them off, resetting the thermostat and then turning them back on and resetting again. If this does not work, then you have a bad thermostat or control box.

Hope this helps,

Jeff

Error code of E4 on Dometic HP air conditioner ??

16. SYSTEM RESET
a. Turn the ON/OFF switch to “OFF” position.
b. Simultaneously depress and hold the MODE and ZONE
push-buttons while turning the ON/OFF switch to “ON”.
FF should appear in the LCD display until the MODE
and ZONE push-buttons are released.
c. When a dip switch is turned on or off after initial configu
ration, a system reset will need to be done before the
Comfort Control CenterTM will recognize the updated selection. Try this. This is for the five button thermostat. Did you check the dip switches to be sure the proper ones are turned on? I need to know which stat you have 4 or 5 button. I have trouble shooting for both.
If you notice reset needs to take place after a dip switch is turned on or off. The dip switches are on the circuit board. You need to drop the lower cover. the dip switches will read in this order #1 heat strip/ #2 zone2/#3zone3/ #4 zone4/#5 furnace/#6 differential/#7stag/#8 gen start. Check this out and be careful. Turn off the stat to change dip switches. On will be toward the description. If you don't have remote start gen set the dip should not be on. If you dont have a Zone 3 the dip should not be on, etc.
