Question about Dacor MCS130SS Millennia Electric Single Oven
Our CPS130W says simply "OFF" in the display panel. Nothing we do will turn it on.To be honest, we had trouble the few weeks before with a cooling fan way in the back making a loud, funny noise everytime we turned the oven on. I could hear the fan working, turning, but it was loud.I am wondering if the oven says "OFF" because the cooling fan is broken? Can we replace the cooling fan ourselves? We can't find any instructions on the net to help us do this. Thanks for your advice.
I take it the oven will not heat. there is a safety thermo inside the grilles. it can be reset.. turn the power off at the breaker...
remove the grille..inside of the door. then look inside the thermo is has two wires going to it and a red button in the middle.. push the red button down it will reset the thermo with a click... replace grille and restore power...
hope it helps..

I got Dacor to give me the number sequence --
- push "cancel" and "#" at same time
- when screen asks for "service ID" enter "S1234"
(get "S" by pushing "7" 5 times)
- screen will list "U60 Cooling Fan" as number 1, so select "1"
- select "clear all", this should clear the error
- hit "cancel" to get out of that screen
Hope this works for you! Best suggestion I have is DON'T BUY DACOR!! We also own their 30" dishwasher, which has been a nightmare experience as well.
