Question about SMC Barricade N Draft 11n Wirele Router
I set up my router with no problems and it worked fine for a couple of months, then it just stopped connecting. Assuming that my ISP was at fault I contacted them. After abourt a £10 phone call they confirmed that there was nothing wrong with their service and the router settings needed changing, but couldn't tell me to what. To confirm this I plugged in my old router provided by the ISP, hey presto i'm back on line. Talk talk won't offer any further support as "it's not their problem". Help please, I feel like I've wasted my hard earned cash!
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

check if this problem is with both wired and wireless computers, if not with the wired..only wireless has problems, check if you have any other wireless device operating in the same frequency of the router..if s, turn off other devices and check b.cos that me interfere your w/ls connection, if wired is having the same problem, connect modem straight to the pc and observe the connection, so that you can isolate problem..

What is your OS?
Are you connecting with a wire or without?
Are you using encryption?
Post your ipconfig info:
Start Run cmd
Enter to copy, paste into this window
In most cases, it is best to set the router to defaults and start over.

I think that you may use one of these options
1. Use the below username and password to login to the GUI of the router as the administrator
User ID admin Password smcadmin
2. In case that this does not work, you may want to reset the router settings to factory default. To reset press and hold reset button on back panel for at least 30 seconds -- all front pannel LEDs will come on when unit is reset. Default router IP address is "192.168.2.1" or "192.168.2.1:88".
I think this should do the trick for you.
