Question about Washing Machines
Just received our new Maytag Epic MHWZ600TW01, Front Load Washing Machine. Set up went fine and we then ran it the first time, without a load, to clean out any possible factory film, oil, etc. - as instructed in the Owner's Manual.
At the end of two cycles (each cycle being a water fill, wash, drain, high speed spin), and with about 22 minutes left, an Error F30 popped up, and everything stopped.
Since this happend, we haven't been able to re-start the machine. After going over the trouble shooting items in the manual several times, including unplugging the unit for about 30 minutes and then trying again, nothing works. All that happens is the following:
Hey there is a temo fix till some body comes to your home if you remove the soap try and reach in to the back of the opening you can rest the spring loaded wheel that controls the soap disspenser and that will stop the clicking and allow the machine to run!!!!! after reading all the post i could find i figured it out now my washer is running fine!!!

Testimonial: "This worked temporarily. Fortunately we were covered by warranty and the entire machine was replaced. No problems since."
Just remove the soap tray, reach in all the way to the back (upper right) and move the little lever. It's the only moveable thing in there. Might have to do it again for the rince cycle.

My front-loader was giving me the same error code. What corrected the problem for me? Simply remove any items from the top of the washer (my weight? detergents). There is a part that moves in accordance with each cycle, located under the top cover, that is prevented from moving if the weight is in the perfect spot.
