Having error message could not start, cannot find the correct hard disk

I believe you mean "corrupt data". When we have message corrupt data means that something wrongs with hard disk. You can try correct problem running full disk check.

Check your hard disk for errors

the HP cannot boot up because it cannot find the hard disk to boot up from.
You could have a faulty hard drive or the hard drive needs re-seating.
If the HP still does not boot up after re-seating the hard drive go into the BIOS setting and see if the hard disk is detected. If not the most likely the hard disk is faulty.
To get the laptop working again. replace the hard disk, install Windows on the new hard disk plus the HP Laptop's device drivers and your programs.

sounds like bad hard drive

Disk has no power or has crashed verifiy spinup it should make a spin up noise if not the drive is defective, As I am a sony expert I know this drive is replaceable under warrenty! Hope you bought extended there is not you looking $50 labor on top of $199 for the hard drive.

Is your new hard disk is of same company and config. Hard disk of another company may cause this problem

It seems that your computer is not booting from DVD-ROM drive nor hard disk, but is trying to establish a network setup of the operating system.

You have to go to BIOS settings and correct these preferences by making your hard disk the first boot device. Of course that would be a solution if you have operating system installed on it. If there is no operating system installed on the hard disk, you will need to install it. In this case, your first boo device would DVD-ROM or CD-ROM, whichever available.

System Error 04CXX Try the following Steps to resolved an eror:

1.)Press ENTER and switch the printer OFF. Remove the Hard Disk Drive (if installed) and make sure that the EIO card is installed
correctly by pushing it firmly inwards and checking that the two installation screws are completely tightened. Switch the printer
ON again. If this error code continues to appear then replace the EIO card.

2.)If this Error Code disappeared after removing the Hard Disk Drive, then switch the Printer OFF and reinstall the Hard Disk Drive, making sure that the two installation screws are completely tightened. Switch the Printer ON again. If this Error Code reappears, then the Hard Disk Drive could be faulty.
Replace the Hard Disk Drive.
