Try a different monitor - if that doesn't solve the problem, replace the video card.

Try the following:

1. Open the cover of the printer.
2. Remove all ink tanks from the printer.
3. Lift up the gray locking lever on the side of the ink tank holder.
4. Gently remove the print head from the carriage unit.
5. Place the print head back in and lock the lever down.
6. Place all of the ink tanks back in the printer.
7. Close the cover and turn the printer off.
8. Unplug the power from the printer. Leave the power unplugged for about 5-10 minutes.

Just refilled my black ink cartridge but my printer won't accept it. Keeps saying it is out of ink.


Hold down the red Stop button for 5 seconds. (When the LCD screen gives you the message about "the ink cartridge is not good" - or whatever it says.) Learned this from Canon tech support. Works like a charm! :-) If that doesn't work, then yes, there might be damage; but give it a full 5 seconds on the Stop button. Betcha it will work!

HP Premium C309 All-in-One Printer error message "C2FE0065"


I had a similar error (not the same! C2FE0100), and cleared it up with the following procedure:
1) While the HP logo was displayed on the screen, I unplugged the printer. 2) Plug the printer back in. 3) Immediately open the printer so you can see the ink cartridges. 4) Press the power button at least once. If yours is like mine, you see the error just by plugging in the printer, but it takes a minute or so. Pressing the power button for me just caused it to restart the boot sequence where I could get the error again. 5) Wait a couple of minutes. You should see the ink cartridge carrier move back and forth several times, and the screen will display a message telling you the ink access door is open (or similar). 6) I let it move the ink cartridges around for several minutes, but this probably isn't necessary. 7) Close the printer back up. 8) About a minute after closing the printer, it told me that I shouldn't turn it off by unplugging it, and that I should use the power button. 9) I pressed the power button once, and it shutdown. 10) I pressed the power button once, and this time it turned on without any error messages.
I was able to print a photo via bluetooth from my phone, and a short document from my computer, so it seems to be working OK.

Same as above: error that ink cartridge is damaged or missing


Try simply turning off the printer, disconnect from power, and let sit 5 minutes. This will bleed out the printer's internal memory. Reconnect and try again. Otherwise, if you can't get the reset procedure to work, unfotunately, these printer have an integrated printhead system, and the printer will need to be replaced.

Color Ink Cartridge Problem


Hi,

Unplug the printer, and leave it unplugged for 5-10 minutes. Then if the printer is still complaining about the color cartridge when you turn it back on, then replace the print cartridge.

The solution offered last time has failed. The sign has reappeared "Ink system has failed. I have turned off the power for 10seconds, and turned off power, removed cartridges, turned on power...


There is a chance that there is something physically wrong with your printer. Maybe a gear is broken or came off, or maybe a pump or tube is clogged. But most of the time a cold reset will sold the ink system failure error. Here's the procedure for the cold reset:

1- Turn off power and unplug from power source.
2- Open right side of printer (looking at the front).
3- Disconect,by pulling gently, the flat ribbon cable off the main circuit board that is the smaller of the two.
4- Plug in power source and turn printer on. Wait till you hear no more movement from inside from unit booting up.
5- Press both cancel and power button at the same time.
6- Message on printer screen will be, "Enter Special Key Combo".
7- Push keys; Left-Ok-Right.
8- When printer screen changes, scan through and look for "System Menu" and push "Ok"
9- Scan agan and look for "Clean Derivative" and push "Ok". [WAIT FOR 1 MINUTE].
10- Scan agan and look for "Clean Firms" and push "Ok". [Again WAIT FOR 1 MINUTE]
11- Press "Cancel" 4 times
12- Turn off power and unplug from power source. [NOW WAIT FOR 2 MINUTES].
13- Reconect the flat ribbon cable by aligning and carefully pushing into the conector on the main circuit board.
14- Plug in power source,and turn on power.
15- When printer boots up, answer the questions on the printer screen for your area.
16- The printer will cycle the ink from the cartridges to the print head and back.

If this doesn't clear your error then there may be something broken inside your printer. If you still have warranty then I would have the unit replaced. If you don't have warranty then it might be cheaper to buy a new printer that has warranty.

Ink cartridge problem


maybe it have the ink level chip which can be resetted by removing the cartridge and oning and offing the printer for 5 times within 10 minutes coz it saves data of a cartridge upto 5 use before only.. and 6th time insert it.

Changing Cartridges


I inspected the users manual, there it writes:

The steps below to replace an ink cartridge: Caution: Leave the empty cartridge installed until you have obtained a replacement, or the ink remaining in the print head nozzles may dry out. To ensure good results, use genuine Epson ink cartridges and do not refill them. Other products may cause damage to your CX6600 not covered by Epson’s warranty. 1. If an ink cartridge is empty: Look at the LCD screen to see which cartridge is empty, then press the x Color button. If an ink cartridge is low: Press the Setup button to enter Setup Mode, then press the green button next to the LCD screen until Replace Ink is displayed. Then press the x Color button. 2. Lift up the scanner 1314127a0e502194c0d970046a123efc.png 3.Wait for the ink cartridge holder to move over, then open its cover.
4. Identify the cartridge you need to replace. Press in the tab at the back of the cartridge, then lift it straight out. Dispose of it carefully.

5. Before unwrapping the new cartridge, shake it gently four or five times. Then remove it from its wrapper.
6. Insert the new cartridge into the holder. Press down firmly until it clicks into place.

Close the ink cartridge cover.

Lower the scanner.

The CX6600 begins charging the ink delivery system and “Charging . . .” appears on the LCD screen. Wait for charging to finish before using your CX6600.

Caution: Never turn off the printer while “Charging . . .” appears on the LCD screen, unless the CX6600 hasn’t moved or made noise for more than 5 minutes.

Printer error


Hi On the canon website has the solution for this at this link http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=SuprtKnowledgeBaseAct&fcategoryid=238&modelid=11010 It says you have to disconnect usb cable and power adapter for about 5 minutes to clear the memory and then plug it up back again. Also, make sure ink cartridge is seated properly. Good Luck
