As per Microsoft help guide hibernate and sleep setting has been set to NEVER.. As per your advice I find that local security setting : allow unlock without having to go on>enabled.. I did not find Local security Policy to turn it Never. The problem the 'computer gets locked automatically' persists.

It is because of account lock option is enable on your computer. For that go to start menu->control panel->Local security policy Then account policies ->Account lockout policy Set account lockout duration to never then it will not locked. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

There is a problem to upload image in facebook

this might be a mouse problem
make sure the batteries are inserted correctly and have charge if applicable
usually located on the underside of the mouse there might be small plastic sticker with a phillips head screw under it rub your fingernail over the top to see if it has a screw

or make sure the usb device is properly inserted for wireless or ps2 is inserted correctly

I have found that the best way to adjust your mouse settings is to create a control panel in your bottom toolbar scroll to the bottom of your screen right click you will see an array of options select the toolbar option then select desktop

then you will see the desktop in the bottom toolbar select the 2 >>arrow heads then all control panel items then select mouse this is in WINDOWS 7

in XP you will have to select the new toolbar option once you have that a browse option select my computer then control panel then a control panel option will be in the bottom toolbar

click start right click on my computer select properties device manager control scroll to mice and pointing devices you might see a yellow question mark? right update driver

click on >> control panel all control panel items mouse you should see 4 tabs buttons pointers pointer options and hardware under hardware you have options to troubleshoot also you can select properties under driver you will have the options update driver rollback driver or uninstall in xp

in windows 7 click start control panel hardware and sound mouse you will see the same tabs and options as with xp

hope this helps

Mouse cursor jumping problem, how to fix it?

A mouse is a vital component of your computer and allows you to control certain functions on the screen. When the mouse is not functioning correctly, it can be frustrating. There are a few different reasons why your mouse pointer may jump on the screen. You need to work through the possible causes and troubleshoot the problems to fix your mouse and get it working properly again.

1.
Examine the batteries if you have a wireless mouse and the cursor begins to jump. A low battery may be the cause. Change the batteries and check the mouse again. If it is still experiencing the same problems, proceed to the next steps to resolve the issue.

2.
Switch the wireless transmitter to a different USB port on another computer if possible. There could be problems with the port, causing the cursor to jump. This will resolve the problem if the issue is with the USB port. If the mouse is still jumping, move on to the next steps.

3.
Click on the "Start" menu in the bottom left corner of the screen. Right-click on the "My Computer" menu and click on "Properties." Click on the "Hardware" menu and click on "Device Manager." Locate the mouse entry in the list. Right-click on it and select "Update Driver" from the menu. Allow a few moments for the operating system to locate and install an updated driver for your mouse.

4. Remove dust or debris from the mouse pad and mouse with a soft cloth. Dust or debris could prevent the mouse from operating smoothly and cause the cursor to jump. Add a small amount of isopropyl alcohol to the cloth before you begin. Wait for the alcohol to dry on the pad and mouse prior to using.
5. Go to the "Start" menu and click on "Control Panel." Double-click on the "Mouse" icon and click on "Mouse Pointer." Decrease the speed of the mouse pointer. This could be causing the cursor to jump.
I hope you find it very helpful.
Thank you.

My Sidewinder x6 keyboard only seems to go crazy when i play games like crysis warhead. it will suddenly, for no reason, start pushing buttons automatically. Then when i exit the game, and go to microsoft...

Have you checked using the keyboard and mouse from another system?
And what exactly do you mean by "it will suddenly, for no reason, start pushing buttons automatically" and "ometimes the left and right mouse buttons will also start clicking automatically" ?
Do you mean that the buttons themselves are physically moving?
Try this first: Go to device manager. Find the entry for the keyboard. Right click on the entry and choose the option "Properties". Then, click on the button to re-install the driver.
Now do the same for the mouse.
Then play the game(s) again. If the situation remains the same, go to your dealer and ask for them to be replaced.
If, even after the replacement, the situation remains, repair your installation of Win 7. Now check again by using your applications and games. If the situation remains, you have a poltergeist in the house. (Just kidding!)
If all the above does not work, get back to us with what you have done and we'll do our best to help you.

No display.

Goto my computer and right click, choose properties and then go into device manager, find display adapters and click the "+" sign to the left, it should bring your graphics driver that you are using at the moment, right click on it and choose update driver, use the internet option to automatically find the driver online, it takes a few minutes so be patient and it should find the correct driver for your graphics.
