I have a freestanding electric stove made by CFM Harris Systems Inc. I hear that they are going out of business. Problem - when I turn the knob on for heat I get noise. Also, there is an odor like something burning. Can anyone advise what the problem might be?

My 1999 caravan is blowing cold air

Check the water Coolant level in the coolant reservoir and also remove the radiator cap, which tends not to be on the radiator any more and check it is full. Also burp the system by removing air licks buy sqeezing the radiator hoses when the system is hot. Remove the radiator cap before you do this. You also need to check the thermostat for correct operation as it might be stuck closed. Remove it, put it in a pot of warm water put it on the stove and you should see it open before it comes to a simmer.

If you have air blowing out the vents but it is not air conditioned, someone would need to check the freon level in the ac and the electrical circuit going to the ac clutch.
If the compressor is running and one of the ac lines is cold, you may have a problem with a blend door under the dash.

It's most likely a thermal fuse if it's a gas dryer. very easy to install. If your dryer is electric, it's either the thermal cut-off or the heating element itself. If you need help with anything, please feel free to e-mail me. good luck :)
