Sony DSC-W80 Digital Camera Problems emptying memory card

I have loaded my pictures to my computer and have also deleted them from the camera. However, the camera now tells me the memory is full and I can only take 1 picture. How can I empty the memory stick?

Thanks Bubba. I'll try that. You want to start a shrimp boat company? Thanks again.

You should format the memory stick. This can be done from your camera.

Cannot tranfer pictures from my sony cybershot DSC-W80 to the laptop. It just keeps on saying that 'cannot find media files to be imported'. Help!

To solute this problem simply is to use a memory card reader instead of link camera to laptop, as the inside card reader of the camera is consumable, and USB memory card reader can saving the life of it also saving life of the camera interface.

Unfortunatlly i deleted 1 photo folder in my sony digital camera (model-dsc-s950). How to recover the folder

First take the memory card out of the camera. Pictures that have been deleted are probably still there, but will be overwritten if you take any more pictures on top of them.

Your camera is not able to undelete pictures, but there are programs for doing this on a computer. You can put the memory card into a card reader attached to a computer, and use an undelete program to recover the deleted files. Undelete programs are available for free download from the internet, try the one at THIS LINK

If the pictures are very important to you, you might want to seek help from an experienced person.

My dsc-w80 keeps saving all of my pics to the internal memory

Set camera on playback mode, you will see any saved picture in internal memory. Insert memory card and lcd screen will show you either blue screen if memory card has no picture files or will show you picture in memory card. That means memory card is intact with camera and ready to store fresh picture.
Set camera to camera mode and take few fresh pictures and check them in playback mode.
Let me know if you have additional question.
Thanks.

Delete photos

looking at the back of the camera, at the bottom right coner among the switches, there is a button with a waste basket picture. While going through at play mode, you can press this button to delete single picture. Otherwise you can go to menu and format the memory card and erase all the pictures. -James

Pictures only save to internal memory, not memory stick...

DSC-W80 sybershot camera has facility when you insert Memory Stick in its slot, it automaticaly selects this memory card and starts saving data on it and internal memory got suspended.
Pls check memory stick 2GB and inert it correctly in memory slot in camera.

Getting blank pictuers

Hey arelis1234,
There are multiple programs that can recover deleted images off a digital camera or memory card. I would search the internet for photo recovery programs and you should get multiple results. Some of these programs are free and some come at a cost. I would try the free ones first because if one program doesn't work that doesn't mean another program won't recover your images. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan
