Question about Samsung ML 1610 Laser Printer

1 Answer

Samsung Ml 1610 This machine don't move anything when I send the document to writte. Obviusly I feed paper and I connect the machine to the power and also to the computer. Looks as if the printer can't recognize the computer. The communication cable is OK because I prove it with other printer.

Make sure that when you turn on the printer, it moves and shows a green light. Then check if the printer is present in the device manager in windows, go to system properties, hardware, device manager and expand the "UNiversal Serial Bus controllers". You should see "Usb printing support" if the printer is being detected. IF it's being detected, download and install the latest drivers. If the printer doesn't appear in the device manager, you have a faulty board inside the printer that needs to get replaced.

You need the device driver so that Windows can communicate with the printer. Try the Samsung website and look for Drivers for the ML 1610. Or try running Microsoft Update.

The paper has jammed in my ML-1610 printer.

The paper jams mostly, because the rubber band that feeds the paper to the printer is broken/split. Check the rubber band. It's located within the plastic wheel that feeds the paper.

Samsung ML 2010 won't paper feed

Lift up the front of the machine a couple of inches. I put a small bo under it. The paper then feeds slightly downhill.

Worked for me.
