Most computer testing facilities will test your current power supply for free. A replacement is very inexpensive to replace. Bestbuy, MicroCenter, small computer shops and buy replacement from Amazon.com, newegg.com.. Just make sure you have the correct information for your replacement. The model number on the power supply would be your best bet in most cases. Good luck and have a great day. I buy power supplies as low as $15 dollars Generic

nope. the resolution has bumped up for some reason out of range for the monitor. Does it only happen in the game? that might be a clue.

Everytime i start up computer a sigal appears saying "no video input"

I'm assuming after a few minutes, it does get a signal from your computer and all works? It does take about 30s +/- 90s for a computer to generate an output video signal so if your monitor comes on first, before the computer can send a video signal, then you'll see that message. You should see the same message if you shut down your PC and leave the monitor on.

It shows "check signal cable",

Hi, Hopefully you are seeing this error on the screen of your monitor. If that is the case,
do the following steps.
1 Shut down the computer. To do this, without looking at the monitor, hold the on/off button to your computer in for about 5 seconds. The computer should then shut down.
2 Shut off the monitor.
3 Unplug the video signal cable, the thick one that goes between between the computer and the monitor and then re-insert it observing not to bend any pins. There are two end screws that you will have to be loosened, although they may have not been tightened in the first place. When you reinsert the cable, hand tighten those screws.
4 If there is a similar connector on the back of the monitor, repeat step # 3.
5 Make sure that the signal cable is firmly attached to both the computer and the monitor. 5 Turn on the computer and see if it has solved the problem.
If it does not, examine the cable for signs of damage along it's length.
If it is damaged, replace it. you should be able to get a cable for stores like Best Buy, or possible from a friends old stack of cables.
Hope this helps,
Mark

I start my computer and the monitor says no signal and even after i shut down the computer the screen stays blue and says no signal. any solutions?

Can you try this monitor with another PC or this PC with another monitor? We need to find where you lose your signal at first before going further.

Check signal cable

There is no problem. The monitor is telling you that it's not receiving a signal. The reason there is no signal is because your computer is turned off, so it's telling the truth. :D
The monitor should go into idle mode on its own, so you won't see that message for very long. It's annoying, but doesn't cause any real problems. You can save even more energy by shutting off your monitor entirely after you shut down your computer. This will make the message go away and also save money on your electricity bill!

No video signal, says my HannsG HW191D LCD monitor

This message occurs when the signal from the computer is absent, as in the computer is shut down or the cable is unplugged etc.

No signal

This sounds like your Video card might not be compatible with the game you are playing. You might need a better video card. Before you do anthing else, check to see if your computer is fast enough to play it.

Big games can crash slow computers, also it could just be a bad monitor.

Try checking the cord between the monitor and the computer.
