1978 portable

I have a 1978 jvc portable little tv black and white with am-fm radio. it has a battery pack and it is no good, the batteries have been removed. Is there anywhere that sells these anymore or am i just out of luck. I got this from my dad when i was 9 and would really love to see it working again. thanks, Kelly
