i bought this tv at Wal-Mart for my grandson. he has since lost the remote, so he can't play his gamecube. of course Wal-mart no longer sells them, and i don't know if a plain universal remote will work. there isn't even a brand name on the TV, although i heard it might be Emerson. any suggestions?

My son has a TMNT tv and the remote is broken or just the button to turn it to the games. I bought a universal remote and it does work some so that he can play his games but it doesn't let him enter two digit channels to change them so he has to scroll through them to get where he wants. It is an RCA - RCR312W remote and is universal but I had to go through the steps for the auto code search which was a little confusing and took a little while. The remote only cost about 8.00. All of the features don't work and I am sure that with a little playing around I could figure out the brand from the code but I haven't yet. Hope that this helps and if anyone else has a better solution please let me know.

my remote dont work anymore so i cant play dvds and the pc keeps coming up frpm the dvd and wont let me play some movies and i never set it what can i do?ive tryed to reset it but no go and i got a unverseil remote and it wont work

I also recently bought the spongebob version, purchased a universal remote, but I am having the hardest time getting the remote to work....What am I doing wrong? I am going to try to insert all the Emerson codes, any suggestions?
