Question about Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot C905 Cell Phone

1 Answer

I took my C905 to Germany at the weekend and swithed it off at the airport. It went through the X-ray scanner at security and when I arrived in Germany, it would not start up. The Sony Ericsson screen logo comes up then flickers off. The phone is still on but there is nothing on the screen. The screen is dull and blank but appears to be on. Is it likely that the X-ray screening has damaged the phone and is there anyway of saving the phone ?

Yes, you just need to connect the Airport to the modem. That way, the Airport will fetch the internet connection and distribute it to all your WiFi enabled device. You don't need any other hardware. You just need to configure the airport using your Mac computer.
Here's a quick setup guide from Apple.com:

The cars suffer from resting electrical drain for a variety of reasons (or dealer excuses). One of the most common issues is the car wakes up and starts a lot of processes when a keyless unlocking device is used around the car. Even radio signals from other cars will wake uo the car, but not open yours. I have had no satisfactioin in curing my 2003 RR from this ailment. The car also eats batteries due to heavy drains in normal driving, get yours load tested.

Yes, this is possible if the player became too close to the camera x-ray emission. But may just be coincidental.

LCD screen is white

It is not likely that the x-ray machine goofed up your camera's circuit. It is more likely that the vibration on the plane loosened a flex connector, possibly a chip has failed. A reputable repair shop is the answer for this.
