hi.. Are you sure that this is the correct model number? I don't see it on
Cobra's web site. Some retailers request that Cobra brand their
products with different model numbers in order to avoid having to honor
any "lowest price" guarantees. Check Cobra's web site and see if your
Cobra RD model looks identical to one of the other models shown on
their web site. Alternatively, call Cobra and ask them for a link to an
online PDF of the user manual or for a replacement manual...

The officer also could have used a very quick burst of instant-on radar which Cobra brand radar detectors are notorious for not detecting. The officer also could have used a 35.5 Ka band radar gun. Cobra and other import brands of radar detectors usually have great difficulty detecting 35.5 Ka band radar.
