Cannnot play dvd's bought in a different country.

That is because DVDs are set up to play in only one set of countries. North America is Region 1 UK is a different Region. This is to stop piracy and to protect each countries laws on intelectual property rights.

The unit will need to be repaired by a technician. Most likely you have a bad transistor that is causing the protect mode to turn on. The only way to get the protect mode to turn off is to remove the bad part.

I cannnot play videos on my console that are stremed from my computers.

The videos may be in the wrong format. Try WMV with no DRM on it, or an AVI with no DRM. If that works, than the file format may be un-streamable or the Xbox doesn't like it because of DRM protection.

When i switch on my samsung HT-Z110 the word hello appears then protect thenit turned off!

Audio receivers have an output protection circuit called "protect mode", this is to protect the receiver from short circuit failures. The speakers and speaker wires are what I inspect thoroughly first, look for bare speaker wires,or bare wires that are touching each other at that point, check speaker wires at the back of the receiver for sloppy connections, etc. If all looks good then try disconnecting all the speakers at the receiver, then turn power on to see if it goes into "protect mode", if it does the the receiver probably has an internal short and will need to be sent in for service,if it doesn't go into "protect mode" then connect one speaker at a time back into the receiver until it does go into "protect mode" then which ever speaker you connected last is the speaker that is shorted(blown) and then you know that speaker is the problem and it will need to be replaced or repaired. Good luck !

My Sony receiver is flashing protect mode

Disconnect all speaker wires at the receiver. Then power the unit on, if it stays on, post a comment on this thread and I will help you troubleshoot further. If "Protect" remains on, you need to have your receiver serviced. Hope this helps.

Security Code for Protect mode

Turn on the car so the radio is flashing "Protect." Look on the front / removable face of the stereo. On it you will find a small round hole - that's a reset button. Find a small paper clip, unfold the clip and stick it gently into the hole. The "Protect" will stop flashing, and Kenwood will be displayed. Unfortunately all your settings/presets will be gone, but at least the stereo is working again!
