Question about ViewSonic E70f 17" CRT Monitor
As a computer technician by trade i will the obvious and move through to the complicated procedures and if after this you have no luck it is dead
first is there a video signal coming out of the computer
second is to video cable (vga) still good
third do you hear a crackle or obsesive humming while in operation(if yes disguard imediately)
lastly does the screen change shade when turned on (if yes you have a video problem)
and remember if it did not meet these criteria then disguard imediately as dead crt monitors can be very dangerous or harmfull should it blow out.
hope this helps and good luck
