Question about Kodak EesyShare CX7310 Digital Camera

1 Answer

When attempting to download photos from my CX7310 camera to my computer the computer screen gives the impression that the photos are being downloaded but then I receive a message that the pictures have not been transferred and the pictures will not be removed from the device. I have noticed a little rust on the outside of the USB cable plug which fits into the comuter. Could this rust be the problem with being unable to download photos to my computer?

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

Cant download my videos

You most likely have a picture management program like Arcsoft Photo Impression that automatically transfers pictures but not video to somewhere on your computer. The camera will probably show up as a Removable Disk in the My Computer window. The easiest way to transfer photos and videos is to click and drag by clicking on the picture or video clip and dragging it to where you want to go by holding down the left mouse button

Cannot download pictures from camera to PC

you might need to go to the manufacturers web site and download the drivers for your camera. or if your camera came with a CD isert that into the computer and install it before connecting your camera again. if that doesnt work you will need to buy a fifteen in one card reader for your memory card. that will plug right into the comuter and you will take the memory card out of your camera and put it in the card reader. then you should be prompted that something has been inserted into you computer.

DSC-N1 display different when downloading photos

You say 'When I attempted to download photos to my computer, it doesn't show the display USB Connecting or the Cancel button. All it shows is a big dot in the middle with four directional buttons.' Not sure where this shows. Does the camera still take picture and upload them OK? Come back
