Mostly, printer cartridge error occurs when the printer head is unable to identify the cartridge properly. And the basic reason behind this is that the cartridge is improperly attached. To reattach the cartridge, turn on the lid of the printer and then remove the cartridge from the printer head. Check the cartridge to make sure that there are no scratches or other damaged parts that can contribute to a printer cartridge error report. Take note that the cartridge should not be left open for more than 30 minutes; otherwise the ink will start to dry up and the cartridge will get clogged.
Try switching both the printer and computer off & on. If it still doesn't print properly, try to copy a page rather than printing from the PC. That way you'll know if it is a printer problem or some communication error. When you say documents come out blank...are they colour documents or black only?

Andrew Makola,Is that the right drivers for your printer? if so,you need to go to your printer setup and go to setting for your printer where you see fax option disable it.Consider again that does your printer work with your operating system,meaning windows XP,Vista or Windows 7.Hope you get it right this time1
