Question about Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Smartphone
If you are a BSNL mobile subscriber and want to get Internet on your
mobile through GPRS then you will need to configure your mobile for GPRS
But before configuring, you need to get GPRS services activated for your mobile.Earlier this year BSNL has activated GPRS on all prepaid mobiles. So you just need to configure your mobile and go surfing.Postpaid users will need to activate it as there are different plans for postpaid users. However, in case GPRS in not activated by default in your area, you can activate it by sending an SMS as follows, depending on what type of user you are.
SMS GPRSPRE to 53733 .It can take 24 hrs to get activated and you will get a confirmation message after activation.
After you decide on the plan SMS GPRS49 or GPRS199 to 53733.It can take 24 hrs to get activated and you will get a confirmation message after activation.
Configuration settings for GPRS access:
After your activation is done you need to configure your mobile to get GPRS data. You have to send a message to 58355 which contains your mobile model. For example-If you have a Nokia 5800 ,SMS "Nokia N5800? to 58355.
Soon you will get WAP,Portal,GPRS and MMS settings from BSNL.Save them all to your mobile.Use either WAP or GPRS as your default access point if your mobile asks for it.

Standard instructions for email inbox setup:
i have finished my corby pro email settings & i can send and recieve emails. the problem with only recieving & not able to send is the confusion between port numbers. in secure connection box three options available ' off ', ' SSL ', ' TLS '. use only SSL or TLS because the port numbers for SSL & TLS differs. just try this & you will be able to send and recieve emails.
SMTP port - 465
POP3 port - 995Enable POP in Gmail. Don't forget to click Save Changes when you're done.Configure your client to match the settings below:Incoming Mail (POP3) Server - requires SSL:pop.gmail.com
Unless you're using recent mode to download mail to multiple clients, make sure you've opted not to leave messages on the server. Your Gmail settings determine whether or not messages stay on the server, so this setting in your client won't affect how Gmail handles your mail.
Please note that if your client does not support SMTP authentication, you won't be able to send mail through your client using your Gmail address.
Also, if you're having trouble sending mail but you've confirmed that encyrption is active for SMTP in your mail client, try to configure your SMTP server on a different port: 465 or 587.You're now ready to use POP with your Gmail address.
