I need the make/model but based on the very limited info, it sounds like you have a drain pump issue. If you can hear the pump humming or running, then power is getting to it but most likely it's jammed or clogged. Washing machines won't spin if they can't drain. If there is no pump action at all, suspect drain motor, wiring to the pump, lastly, main control board.

Didn't drain. Won't spin.

Hi Kat, let's see if I can help your with this. The washer will not spin when it senses water inside so we'll start first with the drain. When the machine was finished washing, did you hear the drain pump attempting to discharge water? Try selecting the "Spin Only" or "Rinse and Spin" cycle, you should be able to hear whether or not the drain pump is attempting to operate. If you do hear it running, but the water is not draining, it is possible that the drain filter is clogged. If you need instructions on how to clean the filter let me know. Otherwise, we'll move to the next step.

Washing machine spins to slow to drain all water

Your drain hose might be clogged. Disconnect it and try to run water through it.

AGITATOR WILL NOT SPIN, WATER WILL DRAIN BUT NO SPIN

Does your motor sound like it is running in the agitate or spin cycle or is it quite? If the motor makes no sound, then you need to replace the lid switch with this part.
If you hear the motor running in the agitate or spin cycle but you don't see any action, then replace the motor coupler with this part.

Why won't my washer won't spin or drain

If the water is not removed first, the spin will not occur. Do you hear the pump run when it starts the spin cycle? If nothing, the pump may be jammed with debris, or the motor itself may have failed. If the motor runs, but no water comes out of the drain, then look for a kinked drain hose (inside the cabinet) or possibly a stray sock lodged in the drain outlet under the outer tub. Sometimes the pump impeller will come loose from the motor shaft causing loss of pump action. Hope that some of this helps!

Wash but not spin cyecle

Check whether the water drain taken place. if all the water drained, the spin will start. A little spin action first and full spin later. ( depends on the program design)

even after drain there is no spin, it could be water level zero not sensed or timer/micro controller needs to be checked

Water pooling up in bottom of dishwasher

is there any way to run the cycle from the beginning and listen to hear if the machine is draining at all when the cycle starts do you hear the water spraying on the inside ? if not then you have several different possibilities....clogged drain line, pump impeller broken(sounds like running but no action), water just flowing back to washer the last one's an easy fix just loop the excess drain hose up like a reverse "p" trap on a kitchen sink drain this keeps the water from flowing back to the machine
