Not really enough info here, but here goes;
You have the router secured with a security code but your laptop isn't, or is secured with a different one. The instructions that came with the router will tell you how to set this up, you HAVE to read them if you ever expect to get it to work. If you don't want to, or can't for some reason, then at least post router brand and model #, laptop brand, model # and wireless card brand and model # along with what steps you have already taken.
